Water You Want To Drink
The Way It Should Be
We all know how important it is to stay hydrated but getting the recommended amount of water is tough. That all changes when you drink flavor-infused water. Yep that’s right, water can taste great. When you add a bit of fruit and/or herb flavor to regular water you can have water you want to drink. Flavor-infused water is refreshing and invigorating.
Mix It Up
To make flavor-infused water try adding slices of you favorite fruits and herbs to a pitcher of regular (filtered) water, refrigerate several hours and taste test. If you like it you’re in business. Flavor-Infused Water Recipes
(per 1 gallon of water)



Herb Water
- Mint, Basil and/or Rosemary
- 10 small leaves or a small sprig
- Tear or crush the leaves to release flavor.


Strawberry Kiwi Water
- 1 pint strawberries
- 2 kiwi
- Peel kiwi and slice both fruits into thin slices.

STRAWBERRY LIME CUCUMBER MINT WATER
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 cup sliced cucumbers
- 2 limes
- ¼ cup fresh mint leaves

Rose Lemon Strawberry Water
- A handful of strawberries
- Petals from a couple of roses
- Lemon sliced into wedges (or the juice from ½ a lemon)


SPARKLING CITRUS COCONUT WATER
- 1 grapefruit
- 2 lemons
- 2 oranges
- 3 limes
- 1 liter naturally flavored pineapple coconut sparkling
Tips
I recommend always using filtered or bottled water. Tap water just has too much gross in it! Trim away any damaged or bruised parts of fruit/herbs before adding to water. Fruit releases the most flavor when mashed. Refrigerate water several hours to overnight for maximum flavor. After adding fruits and herbs be sure to keep water cold. Use fruit/herb infused water within three days. Using clear containers shows off the water. Always use glass containers for citrus.
Caution
Do not leave citrus-infused water in a plastic dispenser overnight.Citrus exposure damages plastic.Remove citrus slices from plastic containers after 1 hour. If you drink enough water or if you don’t, you could always use more. Water is so crucial to our bodies every function and when we are properly hydrated the difference in how good we feel is noticeable almost immediately.
